Introduction
Are you tired of the utility grids defaults every now and then? Is your backup generator making a lot of noise that you can’t hear anything on your television?
The new Instapark SP Series Monocrystalline Photovoltaic PV Solar Panel is your solution.
Solar energy is becoming the substitute to fossil fuels. For this reason, businessmen and the professional want a piece of this renewable source of energy in whichever way.
Companies have come up with technologies of making solar energy collector of which they have become too many in the market. Sometimes we even find it hard to solar for a solar panel, more so if you don’t have any know-how on solar energy.
But now you can check out for solar panels in our energy budgets review.
We make sure that we use the best there is on the market available for our solar energy budgets.
Uses of this panel
This particular solar panel is designed to work with a 12 volts battery, which provided electric power through the help of an inverter.
This particular solar panel is ideal for installation at sites such as; boat rooftops, house roof tops etc.
The solar panel is also ideal for camping, they are usually installed on top of the camper. This solar panel is made of high-efficiency silicon. It is then laminated with tempered glass to make is 100% maintenance free.
Unlike other solar panels made of amorphous this solar panel made of silicon is capable of giving continuous 80% efficiency for over 25 years. isn’t that incredible?
The following are the electrical properties of our solar panel:
- Open Circuit Voltage: 22V
- Short circuit voltage: 18.12
- Short circuit current:8.41
- Power rating: 150 watts
If you are planning on installing multiple or more than one of this solar panels, that is always planned for, each one of this solar panels come with MC connectors.
They are made in such way that you can fix identical solar panels together to form the solar array.
This solar panel comes with the following dimensions and weight:
- weight:58.5 x 1.5 x 26.5 inches
- dimensions: 25.5 pounds
Applications
The particular solar panel is designed for use in;
- RVs and campers
- in cabins
- solar home systems
- in boat power
- and in remote power uses such as camps
Conclusion
If you have noted on our solar energy systems budgets, there is nowhere we have used a solar panel of this type. By type, I mean the monocrystalline solar panel. It is true that the efficiency for this particular is very high, so is the price. But with the efficiency, this type of solar panel gives to a solar system it is worth spending an extra buck on it. For instant polycrystalline of 150 watt compared with our solar panel which is also 150 watts, would have a short circuit current of 7.27 A while our solar panel has 8.49 A. In electricals this a very significant difference.
This shows that monocrystalline solar panels are of high efficiencies than polycrystalline. To identify the two note that polycrystalline cells are usually square shaped and monocrystalline cells are usually octagon shape.
Thanks for this great information about a solar system.
Instapark panel seems to be a good place to start? I have been planning to go off the grid in my cabin in Colorado.. I should say that I am wanting to make my cabin off the grid to get away from the hustle and bustle of technology and work. If my cabin is small, how many of these specific panels will I need?
A better question would be realistically how much power will this one panel create? I know its 150 watts, but how much is that exactly? Would it power an oven?
thanks for the help. Matt B.
we use the inverter to do draw energy from the batteries to our home appliances such as an oven. an oven is an electrical appliance rated at 1500 watts and above. come to think of the number of hours you use the oven per day, maybe 1 or 2 hours. this means the daily consumption of the oven would be 1500watthour a day which is also the amount of energy the solar panel should generate daily for our oven. for our Instapark panel to generate the same amount of energy it should be exposed to the sun for 10 hours. Based on the simple maths, my answer is no it can’t power an oven you need two of this solar panels to do so. you can always ask for us to size it and design it for you thank you.
I like how informative your article is. I was looking to purchase solar panels for my home but was not too sure which 1 is the best. The Instapark solar panel looks pretty interesting as it is designed to be used as a solar home system. I would consider buying it soon. Thank You.
thank you, glad you liked the review! Yeah these ones are great!
I m shopkeeper plz tell me what will be price 4 me. In pakistni rupees
Just use a valuta converter, google the phrase “valuta converter” and you will find one
/Best regards
I guess we all agree that renewable energy resources are great. The only question is the price compared to conventional solutions. Can you please explain more in detail this statement: … this solar panel made of silicon is capable of giving continuous 80% efficiency …? Which appliances can you supply with 20 V?
