Living in places like this can really isolate you from friends and neighbours and you got to have yourself sorted at all angles. Have phone power banks, have car jacks and tyre inflators but for your car battery, have NOCO BLSOLAR5 5.0W Solar Battery Charger and Maintainer.

Really interesting article, the future is definitely with solar power and the more popular it becomes the cheaper it will become to get solar panels.
Do we have the ability to run an electric car purely from solar power yet? The day we no longer rely on expensive petrol will be a great day for everyone.
Do you have any smaller panels to charge things like phones and laptops?

this two products should really help you with the phone, laptop and other small electronics charging.
I don’t this there is already a solar car yet that is free for consumers but I know very soon they will be available. most of them are in the testing and debugging stage.
Thank you

John.
I just purchased a solar battery charger at a yard sale. I am going to use it while camping this summer to recharge my phone. I also am looking to set it up at my lake property to keep the battery charged on my toys in between trips to the lake.
This is a very helpful tool to keep things ready to work when you do not have a hook up to an electric source.
My dad has used one for years to keep the battery in his antique tractor charged and ready to start at any time.
I like the ease of setup, just hook to the battery, put the solar panel in the sun and you are done.
Have you every had one over charge the battery.
John
For sure the product is very awesome than always having to worry about your care battery faults the product will eliminate them. No, i have never had an overcharge though it is advisable to keep checking on the battery so that you know when to disconnect the charger.
